What we need

We are looking for a Senior level Consultant with a minimum of 5 years development experience to join our growing technology consultancy based in Central London.

About you

You’re a strong oral and written communicator comfortable working with senior stakeholders. You’re happy managing your own activities, setting your own objectives where appropriate and working with your own development plan. You have what it takes to motivate teams of all sizes and you can manage conflict situations with empathy, diplomacy and sensitivity.

You’re happy getting involved with the domain community whether that’s blogging, events or webinars. You have an entrepreneurial mindset that means you look for opportunities wherever you think there is value and you always take pride in the high level of quality you bring to all delivery.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for a wide range of activities including:

  • Implementing rest APIs over interfaces on Azure/AWS/GCP
  • Involved, both in the implementation of new and innovative solutions, as well as the support, maintenance, and improvement of existing solutions.
  • Helping to continuously improve the team’s development processes.
  • Develop custom modules and integrate with third party solutions.
  • Key understanding of Cloud Services.
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with the wider team and junior members.
  • Ability to talk to senior non-technical staff.

You will be reporting to our Head of Engineering.

Experience

  • Experience interfacing web APIs with Public Cloud
  • Consultancy experience demonstrating exceptional communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management at all levels

Tooling and Tech

You can show good knowledge and skills using these:

  • Microsoft server-side stack using C#, .Net/.Net Core, ASP.NET, and SQL Server
  • Development methodologies, lifecycles, and coding best practices (e.g. unit testing).
  • Version Control solutions, ideally GitHub.
  • Agile methodologies (especially Scrum) are considered advantageous.
  • Azure DevOps

Who you’ll work with

You’ll be working alongside our Head of Engineering & Principal Consultants within our Engineering and DevOps Practices. You’ll also be assigned a Mentor and a Mentee. DevOps and Principal members of the DevOps practice. You’ll also be assigned a mentor and a mentee.

  1. 1. Submit your CV

    This is the really easy part. Attach your CV to an email and send us a message! Feel free to include anything that will inform, educate or entertain us too!

  2. 2. We’ll call you

    Our Recruitment Team is now on the case. We’ll be in touch within 24 hours for a short call (about 20 mins) to discuss you, the role and what you want to do in the future.

  3. 3. First interview

    Within 48 hours of the initial call we move to the Interview phase. The first is with one of our Heads, it’ll be a call, video chat or a face-to-face. We’ll dive deeper into your suitability for the role and get into a few more specifics. This will typically last 45mins to an hour.

  4. 4. Final Interview

    The final interview will be at our Central London office, for this the Head of your team will be joined by one of our Founders. We’ll look to see how you’ll fit in with the Dae.mn Team, this will include covering the role in depth and more on the Dae.mn culture, values and vision for the future.

  5. 5. Offer/Feedback

    We make a commitment to come back to you within 24 hours after your final interview. This will be with an offer to join the team or detailed feedback as to why you weren’t successful this time.
